SPRING TERM SPORTS NEWS

The new term has bought renewed enthusiasm for sports at Westonbirt School, with many girls competing at county level.

Earlier this month Westonbirt hosted the annual U15 Counties Lacrosse Tournament.  As always, it was very well attended with 19 county teams competing in total.  Nine Westonbirt girls represented Gloucestershire across both the A and B squads.  The girls were committed and played passionately and competitively, resulting in 4^th place for both squads.

In other news, Georgina Fenn continues to make excellent progress with her Cross Country running. Georgina represents Stroud AC and was also selected to represent Gloucestershire Schools last term. Georgina will compete in the South West Schools Championships in Exeter on February 4^th. Good luck Georgina!
