Enrichment Week visit to Westward Ho!

Fun, adventurous and exciting are just a few words to describe Westonbirt School’s recent trip to Westward Ho’s PGL Campus earlier this month.

As part of enrichment week, 24 pupils from Year 7-10 departed for North Devon for what was to be a very memorable trip.

The girls (and staff!) found themselves conquering fears during their multi-activity programme, which included body-boarding, mountain biking and surfing.  Plenty of determination and courage was needed for the trapeze in particular – who would have thought that climbing up a telegraph pole, standing on a small surface and leaping forward towards a trapeze would be so difficult?!

The girls thoroughly enjoyed their PGL trip and many thanks go to Mrs Heathorne, Mrs Barr and Miss Pollitt for accompanying the pupils.
