Confirmation at St. Catherine's Chapel

On Saturday 22^nd January, a service of Confirmation took place in St. Catherine’s Chapel, led by Michael, Bishop of Gloucester and Reverend Philip Dixon.

This year, Bishop Michael and Reverend Dixon welcomed fifteen candidates from Westonbirt School: Bryony Curry; Georgina Fenn; Eloise Fitzmaurice; Charlotte McCulloch; Louise Nicholls; Caroline Oliver; Katie O’Neill; Mollie O’Neill, Tertia Rollason; Amelia Schiller; Anastacia Walsh; Alice Wordsworth; Poppy Wright; Lucy Snell; Tiya Muluzi.

The annual service is one of the important highlights of the school diary. Reverend Dixon explains ‘It is a significant step for girls who are baptised and confirmed, this year by Michael, Bishop of Gloucester. A special sense of unity held the service together with the prayers, sermon, music and words of commitment’. Many congratulations to the fifteen girls who celebrated their Confirmation, and thank you to Bishop Michael and Reverend Dixon for leading the delightful service.
