Musical Success at Westonbirt School
July 2010: Westonbirt School is celebrating following superb results in practical Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music exams, with 70% of girls achieving a merit or distinction (88% above the national average) – a reflection of the outstanding teaching at the school.
Director of Music at Westonbirt School, Dr. Charlotte E. S. Exon, commented “I am utterly thrilled. The girls have all worked really hard and fully deserve these outstanding results. Music is an important part of life at Westonbirt School and it is wonderful to see the pupils perform so well.”
Music is at the heart of the school, with two-thirds of the girls taking part in this year’s summer concert. From orchestra, to jazz, to samba, there is something for every musical taste.
