"BEST EVER CAROL SERVICE" PROVIDES UPLIFTING END TO TERM

The School Carol Service on Saturday provided a truly uplifting end to the Autumn Term with remarkable performances by the soloists, ensembles and the school orchestra under the musical direction of Dr Charlotte Exon.

Always a highlight of the school year, the service was led by the School Chaplain, the Reverend Philip Dixon, with readings by staff, pupils and govenors.  After the formal service had ended, the congregation greatly enjoyed the orchestra's rendition of 'A Winter Wonderland', even demanding an encore!  In keeping with School tradition, the substantial retiring collection was donated to The Children's Society.
