LIVE BROADCAST ON BBC RADIO

Programmers at BBC Radio Gloucestershire chose Westonbirt to feature in its new series called "On The Edge", which profiles interesting organisations close to the county border.  The broadcast included a preview of Pygmalion, due to open the next day.

Roving reporter Faye Hatcher interviewed live on air some of the plays' cast and crew and former pupil Lady Jennie Bland, now Chair of the Holfords of Westonbirt Trust.  The show also featured a lengthy pre-recorded interview with Headmistress Mrs Mary Henderson.

The programme went out live today but if you missed it, you may still hear it on the BBC iPlayer until 7 days after the original broadcast.  Click here to go to the BBC Gloucestershire website and press the "Listen again" button, top right of the screen, then navigate to the appropriate programme from Wednesday 18th November.  The Head's interview featured on the John Rockley Show at 9.40am, with the Pygmalion item at 11.40am, and Lady Bland was on the David Smith Show at 2.40pm.
