LAST POST AT REMEMBRANCE DAY
Westonbirt trumpet student Harriet Smith was invited to sound the Last Post at Rose Hill Westonbirt School's Remembrance Day Assembly, following a moving address by Lt Col Justin Lewis on conflict, past and present.

He also discussed the war in Afghanistan, explaining that our troops are not just fighting a way but doing a lot of good work helping the Afghan people resume a normal lifestyle.  Henrietta's recital provided a suitably moving end to the service.  Year 9 girls had previously prepared for Remembrance Day with a talk from the Royal Gloucestershire Regiment - please click here to jump to that story.
