Our local BBC radio station which often features news from Westonbirt School e.g. live broadcast on Wednesday 18th November 2009 "On the Edge" including an interview with the Headmistress, Mrs Mary Henderson, about what makes Westonbirt School so special. British Red Cross
The School was delighted to play a part in supporting the British Red Cross by hosting the Autumn Fair which benefited the charity for over ten years, raising an impressive £300,000, making it the highest-earning regional fundraising event for the charity. It has also been nominated as the benefactor of a public lecture in the Westonbirt Lectures series.
Cooper Antique Fairs
For many years, this prestigious organiser has chosen Westonbirt School as a venue for its antique fairs, which take place three times a year during the school holidays. Cooper Antiques' Fairs offer only extremely high quality antiques from stallholders who come from all over the country to showcase their wares in our beautiful historic setting. Debbie Young - Freelance Writer
With 13 years' experience of running Westonbirt School's marketing, most recently as Director of Admissions and Marketing, Debbie now works from home as a freelance writer. Her services include PR and all forms of copywriting. A recent leaver of Westonbirt School who gained a first class honours degree from the University of the West of England, Gina now runs her own exclusive jewellery company, creating unique casual jewellery from vibrant coloured cords, semi-precious stones and silver, with styles to suit both men and women.
Help for Heroes
We are pleased to support this charity which helps those who have been wounded in Britain's current conflicts. Many of the school events this year have been in aid of this most worthwhile charity and the Westonbirt Lecture on Friday 21st May is in aid of H4H.
Hermione Jewellery
This award-winning jewellery company is run by Hermione Berry, a former pupil of Westonbirt, from her studio in Clifton, Bristol, where she settled after her degree course. Hermione specialises in wedding jewellery and accessories and every piece is made in close consultation with the bride, resulting in a unique and beautiful heirloom to be worn on her special day.
Holfords of Westonbirt Trust
This recently launched charity, which is completely independent of Westonbirt School, takes care of the historic fabric of the former stately home and gardens owned and occupied by Westonbirt School. The Holfords of Westonbirt Trust and Westonbirt School are two completely different charitable organisations.
Hope for Tomorrow
This Tetbury-based charity supports those with cancer and their dependants, providing mobile chemotherapy vans that take the treatment to the patient at home. The charity will roll out a nationwide programme as funds allow. We were thrilled to have our school shield added to their first van's livery in recognition of our contributions, which include taking part in and helping to marshall their Rainbow Sponsored Walk at our near neighbour, Westonbirt Arboretum. Hope for Tomorrow is also to be one of two charities to benefit from the Westonbirt Autumn Fair 2010.
Katherine Mansfield Society
This charitable trust was set up to raise awareness of the life and works of Katherine Mansfield, to fund academic scholarships and to ensure Mansfield's work is featured prominently on curricula. The Chair is Dr Gerri Kimber, who chose Westonbirt School for her own daughter, and the Patron is former Children's Laureate Dame Jacqueline Wilson. We are fortunate to be able to include in the Westonbirt Lectures a talk by Dr Kimber entitled "Katherine Mansfield and the Bloomsbury Group".

Whilst the Lacrosse Team are on tour this summer in New England, USA, you will be able to check on the team's progress by visiting the website. Daily updates, including match scores and photographs, will be made to their website.

Westonbirt Arboretum
Designated The National Arboretum, because it is England's best, and the most popular outdoor tourist attraction in Gloucestershire, this fabulous woodland is our nearest neighbour and was formerly part of our beautiful rural estate when it was still a private house.
Westonbirt Autumn Fair
For many years, the Westonbirt Autumn Fair has been a highlight of October for the local community, offering the opportunity to buy high quality gifts and crafts in the run-up to Christmas in the delightful setting of Westonbirt School. Over time it has raised over £300,000 for the British Red Cross and in future will benefit other charities including Help for Heroes and Hope for Tomorrow, for which separate links are provided in this list.
Westonbirt Sports Centre
Run by Westonbirt Leisure Limited, our Sports Centre is also open for private members and available to hire by groups from the local community
