British Red Cross
The School was delighted to play a part in supporting the British Red Cross by hosting the Autumn Fair which benefited the charity for over ten years, raising an impressive £300,000, making it the highest-earning regional fundraising event for the charity.  It has also been nominated as the benefactor of a public lecture in the Westonbirt Lectures series.

Cooper Antique Fairs

For many years, this prestigious organiser has chosen Westonbirt School as a venue for its antique fairs, which take place three times a year during the school holidays. We are pleased to support this charity which helps those who have been wounded in Britain's current conflicts.  Many of the school events this year have been in aid of this most worthwhile charity and the Westonbirt Lecture on Friday 21st May is in aid of H4H.

Hermione Jewellery

This award-winning jewellery company is run by Hermione Berry, a former pupil of Westonbirt, from her studio in Clifton, Bristol, where she settled after her degree course.  Hermione specialises in wedding jewellery and accessories and every piece is made in close consultation with the bride, resulting in a unique and beautiful heirloom to be worn on her special day.

This recently launched charity, which is completely independent of Westonbirt School, takes care of the historic fabric of the former stately home and gardens owned and occupied by Westonbirt School. The Holfords of Westonbirt Trust and Westonbirt School are two completely different charitable organisations.

This Tetbury-based charity supports those with cancer and their dependants, providing mobile chemotherapy vans that take the treatment to the patient at home.  The charity will roll out a nationwide programme as funds allow.  We were thrilled to have our school shield added to their first van's livery in recognition of our contributions, which include taking part in and helping to marshall their Rainbow Sponsored Walk at our near neighbour, Westonbirt Arboretum.  Hope for Tomorrow is also to be one of two charities to benefit from the Westonbirt Autumn Fair 2010.

Katherine Mansfield Society

This charitable trust was set up to raise awareness of the life and works of Katherine Mansfield, to fund academic scholarships and to ensure Mansfield's work is featured prominently on curricula.  The Chair is Dr Gerri Kimber, who chose Westonbirt School for her own daughter, and the Patron is former Children's Laureate Dame Jacqueline Wilson.  We are fortunate to be able to include in the Westonbirt Lectures a talk by Dr Kimber entitled "Katherine Mansfield and the Bloomsbury Group".

Westonbirt Autumn Fair
