Sixth Form:
Excellent A Levels and Much More

Whether you join us from our own Year 11 or from another independent senior or state secondary school, you will find a whole new way of life.  You will gain excellent A Level results and careers advice and many other opportunities to develop.  You will also enjoy much more freedom and independence and more privacy in the sixth form accommodation.  Virtually all sixth form boarders have a single study bedroom.  There are also some double rooms available. The Sixth Form accommodation is accessible exclusively to Sixth Formers, as are the Sixth Form Common Room, the Sixth Form Study Centre and the Sixth Form Dining Room. Sixth Formers may also join Westonbirt Leisure's Gym.

Academic studies
In Year 12, you will typically take four AS Levels, specialising in three of them in Year 13, in smaller classes than in the Main School and with more adult relationships with your teachers.  You will gain the best academic results possible for a girl of your ability. Extra-curricular opportunities
These include the Leith's Certificate of Food and Wine, Young Enterprise, the Duke of Edinburgh Award, World Challenge, guest lectures and memorable study trips abroad.

Social life
There are parties in the house, outings to restaurants and pubs, and formal events such as the Sixth Form Charity Ball and Murder Mystery evenings, to name a few.

University and careers
You will work closely with the Director of Studies and our award-winning Careers Centre to gain university and careers advice that is second to none.
