Young Enterprise

This is a must for any would-be young entrepreneur or anyone who wants to find out more about running a business at first hand. Young Enterprise runs throughout Year 12 and girls taking part form their own company, with a managing director, financial director, and all the usual posts to be found in a real business.
External advisors from the actual business world come along to help them. In the course of a school year,they raise share capital to fund their chosen product or service, market it, produce an annual report, wind the business up – and with any luck, distribute their profits to the founding shareholders! It is great fun, looks terrific on your CV and demystifies the whole business world. Dragons’ Den, here we come….
