World Challenge
World Challenge is a well-known and widely respected international travel programme for which girls prepare during their Sixth Form. Part of the Challenge is that they must raise the required funds themselves – around £3000 – and train for the event.
They then travel to a distant country, usually in South America or Africa, and undertake a demanding trek, such as climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, followed by a period of working on a community project, such as building a village school, before finally enjoying a bit of R&R at a local resort. Our next party is bound for Peru.
