How to Join the Westonbirt Association

The Westonbirt Association is the membership organisation for former pupils and staff of Westonbirt School.

These days virtually all our pupils join the Westonbirt Association as they leave our school and are officially welcomed as new members at a special leavers' lunch each summer term hosted by older members of the Association.  In previous years, this was not the case - but all past pupils are welcome to join the Assocation after they have left. Life membership costs just £70 and we offer an £8 discount for every decade that has passed since you were 20. Past staff may join for £35.  The Association generally offers honorary membership to long-serving staff after they leave.

If you would like to join the Association, please click here to download a membership application form.  Please complete it as accurately as you can and return it with your membership fee to the Treasurer, whose address is given at the bottom of the form.  We look forward to welcoming you back into the fold!

After Joining - What Happens Next

On joining, all members are assigned to a Section, which relates to your peer group from your time at the school.  You will have contact with someone who you are likely to remember from your school days and they keep you informed of Association activities.  From time to time you will also be sent school literature.

There is a separate section for Staff, run by a former member of staff (currently Miss Diana Challis).

Your membership information will be entered on to the Association's database, kept at the school and subject to the terms of the Data Protection Act.  All information will be treated confidentially and will be used only in relation to the business of the Westonbirt Association and Westonbirt School.

Members' Services

All members will be mailed several times a year (either by post or by email) with advance notification of Association events such as the annual Reunion Day. You will be invited to send in your news for the Association News magazine and your subscription to this packed annual magazine will be at a discounted rate.
