Entrance Exams

All girls must register with the School before taking and passing our entrance examinations and completing other admissions procedures as outlined below.

Examination Requirements
Years 7-10
Westonbirt Entrance Examinations in English and Maths,
or, via Common Entrance for 11+ and 13+ via your daughter's current school, provided that we are her first choice of school.
Year 12 (Sixth Form)
At least 5 A*-C passes at GCSE including English and Maths and, where possible, the subjects your daughter plans to study at A Level

Admissions Interviews
All candidates resident in the UK must attend an interview with the Headmistress.

References from Your Previous School
All applicants are required to provide a reference from the Headteacher of their previous school.

Applicants from Overseas
Any candidates whose first language is not English must pass English Language examinations as well as entrance examinations. Their English skills must be strong enough for them to join all our mainstream lessons. We may also require them to take English language lessons with our ELT department to continue to improve their English when they arrive.
